Scam Alert!
RECRUITMENT FRAUD
We have been alerted to a potential/alleged scam involving a company with a name similar but not identical to ours. The individuals behind this potential/alleged scam reportedly charge job seekers fees for various assessments, to secure an interview, and/or for purposes of other activities in respect of a recruitment process. They are using a Gmail account to do so.
Please be aware that this company is not affiliated with us. Bright Light Solar VCC, Bright Light Project Management (Pty) Ltd and our affiliates will never charge potential candidates for interview opportunities or related processes, and we do not use Gmail accounts to correspond.
We will never request any payment during our recruitment processes. We strongly advise anyone affected by this alleged scam to report the matter to their local SAPS, relevant banking institution, and the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC).
PRODUCT ADVERTISING
It has come to our attention that some unauthorised members of the public (either a person or a group of persons) in Belfast, and possibly other areas, are unlawfully posing as Bright Light Solar VCC, while advertising various solar and energy products and services to consumers. The person(s) make use of the Bright Light Solar VCC logo and corporate images superimposed onto an electronic and/or printed flyer to pass off as if they are affiliated with, or belong to, Bright Light Solar VCC. Attached is the unauthorised flyer/advertisement.
Please take note that Bright Light Solar VCC, its Qualifying Companies, and any of its affiliated companies (the Company), have not authorised the reproduction of its logo, and/or the dissemination of this flyer and are not affiliated with any of the person(s) purporting to represent the Company in offering these products or services. The products or services being offered by these unauthorised persons are not in any way endorsed by the Company.
The Company will not be held liable or responsible for any losses, damages, injury or death resulting from the purchase or use of any of these unknown products or services offered by these unauthorised persons who are unlawfully passing off as the Company.
Only authorised personnel of the Company, such as the Company’s employees, directors, shareholders or consultants are permitted to represent the Company from time to time in relation to the offer of its products and services.
